When as a group the tenants have bought their freehold, often the tenants wish to grant themselves extensions to all of their leasehold flats, so that they never again have to pay to extend their leases. Such leases are usually extended to 999 years. As they will have bought the freehold, there is no longer a need to pay the landlord for the leases to be extended. This will enhance the value of all of the tenants’ leasehold flats. Our team can offer this service as part of the exercise of the right to buy.
